Personal Training
Personal Training is perfect for those looking for attentive and expert guidance on reaching their goals. I look to cut out all the white noise and confusion that arises for people like you, in creating a program of exercise and nutrition and sticking to it.
Before we begin your training, I will ask you to meet me for a 30 minute trial session. This will give you a chance to get a taste of what training with me would be like and for us to get to know each other. I will then ask you to complete a medical questionnaire and look at your current lifestyle before we work together to identify and set some realistic and tangible goals.
I will create your bespoke program ready for your first session. You will also get access to my 50 page Nutritional Guidebook, free of charge. This is a comprehensive step-by-step guide to nutrition with sections focusing on your specific goals, whether they be in physique or performance, to help you build confidence in your own diet choices. It will also provide you with knowledge on areas relevant to everyone on topics such as macronutrients, calorie tracking and building the mental strength and discipline that will help you to overcome hurdles in both fitness and your day-to-day life. The final chapters of the guide provide you with a group of tried and tested recipes that are easy to make and assimilate into your diet and a shopping list for your next visit to the supermarket.
We will then begin the process of training together. Sessions last for 60 minutes and will take place in the state of the art, studio gym where I am based on Oxford road. Typically people commit to between 2-5 sessions per week but this is something we can discuss and I can help to advise you on by taking into account my experience with past clients and what I think would be most suitable for you.
The value of Personal Training with me lies in more than the hour long sessions we spend together. I take the time to check in with my clients, once per week minimum, to find out how they are feeling with their training, nutrition and progress. I also make myself available throughout the week to you as my client on WhatsApp. For me, building a strong relationship between client and trainer is key to your success and I actively encourage your feedback to help us work through difficulties and celebrate wins, both big and small. We will constantly adapt your program to take into account improvements in your physique and performance and make changes in order to help make your program suit you as well as it can. To ensure you stay on track, we will agree on dates for specific pre-set targets every 4-6 weeks to keep you as motivated as possible and flag point your progress.

Weight Loss
As someone who has been overweight before and understands first hand the challenges of getting yourself to a position where you can be fitter, healthier and more confident, I can help you achieve your goal of weight loss. Sometimes reaching your objective in weight loss can feel scary, a long way away and too big a hurdle to ever overcome but it is my job to encourage you and use my knowledge in nutrition and training to show you that any weight loss goal is possible. You will quickly find once you begin the process that the challenge is not as daunting as you thought and that together we can take on any challenge on the route to success. If you have an important life event in mind such as a holiday, wedding or photoshoot, we can taper your training to that date so that you look and feel your very best.
Boxing
You may hear the word boxing and have an immediate feeling that boxing is not for you but I want to show you that boxing is not just for boxers, it is for everyone. Having boxed over the past few years consistently, I have developed a good understanding of boxing as a way to develop your fitness, strength, coordination and stamina whilst learning a really enjoyable discipline of self defence that you can apply to the outside world. This can work in coordination with or in addition to the exercise program I create for you and can compliment any goal that you have. Boxing is one of the fastest growing sports and I implore you to give boxing a try!
Muscle Building
Many of my clients come to me with the motivation to consistently build muscle and improve their physique but lack the consistency and specific knowledge along the way to get there. I can start with you from the point of a beginner or as someone with prior gym experience and set out a fresh new program of training and nutrition which will be adapted along the way. Unlike other programs that you have maybe tried before, this will be specifically adapted to your profile and will be altered week-on-week, leading toward certain checkpoints in the future. If you have an important life event in mind such as a holiday, wedding or photoshoot, we can taper your training to that date so that you look and feel your best.
Marathon / Endurance
Do you have a goal of running a marathon, half marathon, 10k or 5k or improve your endurance running? I provide coaching and programming specifically focused around this goal. Often people enter these sort of events without the proper training, nutritional guidance or mental preparation in order to achieve them. Whether your goal is to complete a race or improve on your personal best time, you need to prepare correctly. I have run multiple marathons and half marathons, the last one being the Manchester Marathon in April 2022. Those of my clients with ambition to run in events have either completed their objectives or have entered a race and are in training. There are many success stories and no failures to date of clients who were not able to reach their goal. Hiring a Personal Trainer is a sensible idea for those running their first race and a smart choice if you are committed to improving in all areas of running endurance.
Group Training
If you are ready to start Personal Training but would prefer to train with friends, your partner or family members, Group Training could be for you. Training with others allows you the same benefits of 1-1 training but in small groups of up to 6 and at a discounted rate. We would go through exactly the same process in meeting up for a 30 minute trial session before looking at each of your current lifestyles and setting out some periodic goals for the future. Each person will be treated uniquely, as if they were a 1-1 client. You will be provided with your own bespoke program prior to the first group session and gain access to my 50 page Nutritional Guidebook. Every session will involve group participation as well as some client specific exercises in order to cater for the different profiles of fitness and the varying goals of those in the group. Group Training is a really motivating and enjoyable way of training with others but at a lower price.
Family Fitness
Both my in person and online services can cater for Family Personal Training. Whether you struggle to find time to train with looking after a family or simply want to encourage your children to exercise, Personal Training is an easy way for you and your family to get more active. I am fully DBS certified and have experience with children and teens of all ages. While I will create bespoke exercise and nutritional programs for each person so that you can progress towards your own specific goals within the process, the sessions done together will be designed to make exercise fun and bring the family together.
Couples Personal Training
While I try to make my service personable and ‘like training with a friend’, I understand that getting started can be a daunting prospect. That is why I offer Personal Training packages for couples and friends which can help alleviate the anxiety associated with getting started and drive you toward your goals in a motivating and social setting.
